One canvas. One hour. Zero second chances.

The Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo Quick Draw Contest is where talented artists race the clock to create original works of art live, right before your eyes. Watch creativity unfold in real time as each artist starts with a blank canvas and finishes with a one-of-a-kind piece.

When the clock stops, the bidding starts. Finished artworks will be auctioned off immediately following the contest, giving guests the chance to take home a fresh, original piece while supporting the arts at BHSS.

Fast-paced. Entertaining. And completely unique — this is art with adrenaline.
